Payment Options
Diagnostic Testing Fee
Tutorial Fees
TUTORING: Hour and a half group classes. Flat monthly fee per subject:
(No weekly fee, no hourly fee)
All Payments are due at the beginning of the month, not the end.
Please submit payments to the front office before your child begins class. If you have instructed your child to submit a payment on your behalf, you will receive a receipt as proof that your child sucessfully handed in the payment. Students without payment will not be permitted to attend any further classes.
1 course = $100.00
2 courses = $160.00
Make Cheques payable to : Higher Marks Educational Centre.
HIGHER MARKS DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS
1) Higher Marks accepts personal or certified cheques only if accompanied by a valid Grenadian driver's license.
Important: Print the name of the student on the back of the cheque, but do not write notes to accounting on the back of the cheque. These notes are disregarded.

3) Post-Dated Cheques **** Post-dated cheques allow for clients to pay on a monthly basis. This payment method allows clients to choose the 1st of each month for payments to be deducted from the chequing account of his/her choice. Deductions will cease once the course has been completed and all payments have been successfully received. .
STOPPING A POST- DATED PAYMENT
At least 3 business days advance notice must be given to the accounting department in order for an payment to be stopped. Stopped payments MUST be replaced within 5 business days of stopping the payment in order for the student to continue attending classes.

Payments for full fees, NSF replacements, or course books/materials may be mailed to:

DO NOT MAIL CASH!
Please be aware-Payments made through the mail may take up to two weeks to be credited to your account. Grenada Postal Corporation needs time to deliver the envelope, and we need time to process funds and ensure it clears at the bank. If you are close to your payment deadline do not choose this option! You may miss your deadline. Higher Marks is NOT responsible for funds that are in the mail at the time of the deadline.
RETURNED/DECLINED/NSF PAYMENTS
Clients whose payments are declined for any reason are subject to a $25.00 administrative charge; non-refundable, non petitionable flat fee, payable with replacement payment. This policy will not be waived for any reason. Clients who submit more than one NSF payment will be required to pay on a term by term basis in order to remain in the program.
PAYMENT BY SOMEBODY ELSES'S CHEQUE
Cheques belonging to someone else such as boyfriends, girlfriends, separated husbands or wives, grandparents, brothers, sisters, cousins, in-laws or friends, WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED unless that person comes in and signs as legal guardian of the child as well as provides us with necessary guardian information. The person who signs the application form is the only person with whom the institute will deal as guardian or payer.
TWO DIFFERENT PERSONS PAYING FOR ONE CHILD
The Institute WILL NOT accept two part payments or fees from different persons who have privately agreed with each other to share the payment. The Institute will deal with ONLY ONE PAYER. That person must work out his/her business with the other and present ONE MONTHLY AMOUNT PAID BY ONE PERSON.
CHANGING BANK ACCOUNTS
If the client has changed his/her bank account, it is the individual's responsibility to contact the school and submit the new account information to the accounting department.
Tutorial Program
All students, regardless of age, who are applying to the tutorial program MUST first write a diagnostic test in order to determine the student's present level of functioning. Diagnostic Testing for students entering the tutorial program will be conduted at a charge of $30.00 per student for not more than two subjects and includes an English, Math, Reading, and/or Spelling test(s) at the appropriate grade level. Diagnostic testing is done by appointment only. Both diagnostic test results,the student's most recent report card from the regular school, will be used in the placement of students in the program.
